PowerHouse Recycling offers a wide range of services to cater to each of our customer’s individual needs while ensuring that their end-of-life electronics are managed and disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. As an R2 / ISO-14001:2004 Certified company we find it imperative to guarantee secure and credible solutions while completely eliminating your liability. Our innovative approach provides our clients and community in which we operate with the most competitive, reliable, and up-to-date electronic recycling and data destructions services; which include:

Prompt Pickup’s & Local Drop-offs:

Whether you need a one time pick up or regularly scheduled basis; PowerHouse Recycling’s purpose built fleet of trucks have the capability to pickup adequate amountsof electronic equipment throughout the USA. Our trucks are equipped with automatic lift gates designed to adapt to your facilities’ loading requirements. Providing ourcustomers with an expedited retrieval process for end of life electronics ensures satisfaction and efficient turnaround times. PowerHouse Recycling caters to small businesses and large corporations for pickups. For local individuals we accept drop-offs at our facility located at: 175 Lane Parkway Salisbury, NC 28146.  Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8am – 12pm and 1pm-5pm; no appointment needed. Our helpful staff will be more than happy to unload your items and provide you with a receipt for your records.

De-Installation & On-Site Packaging:

We understand that it may not be time or cost effective for your team to de-install, sort, or package your own equipment. For this reason, PowerHouse Recycling has pioneered a team of expert technicians ready to handle all of your forthcoming recycling needs. PowerHouse will provide all tools and packaging materials required to complete the task. Our well qualified and friendly technicians have been trained to de-install various types of electronic equipment while avoiding any interruptions to your operating environment and staff. Upon request serial numbers can be recorded from most items to provide a thorough and complete audit trail. Any work performed on site will be done in a safe and timely manner. Once all material has been properly packaged and loaded for transporting our technicians will return to scour the surrounding area to ensure there is no remaining litter. Before leaving your facility our staff will provide you with a signed receipt showing a brief description of the items that were received.

 

Disposal & Redistribution:

Powerhouse Recycling incorporates a full circle approach to recycling end-of-life electronics. Upon arrival all items will be segregated and sorted into their respective categories for inspection and disposal. Outdated equipment as well as non-functioning and broken products will be manually dismantled back into their virgin materials for environmentally conscious recycling. This is achieved through a safe, audited, and above all secure process for breaking down components. PowerHouse Recycling strictly adheres to our R2/ ISO-14001:2004 commitment by ensuring that we only do business with reputable and responsible downstream vendors none of which export to undeveloped countries, nor do they utilize landfills. This streamlined process enables us to bring a new level of quality, service, and convenience to all of our customers both large and small. A certificate of recycling is provided for each load we receive once it has been processed, sorted and properly recycled.

 

Collection events

To achieve our goals of having 0% waste reach our landfills we promote responsible recycling by hosting one day collection events to government municipalities, communities, businesses and organizations.  While educating about the importance of recycling this also encourages and motivates individuals or small generators of e-waste to regularly recycle in a proper manner.  In order to ensure that each event is a complete success we provide trained technicians, packaging supplies, and storage trailers.  We work closely with each of our clients to customize an event that meets their needs.
